Trust Your Social Team

Let’s be honest with each other.

Our clients are great at a ton of things, and social media is not typically one of them.

This is totally normal. Oftentimes, successful business owners have a million things on their plate, and they tend to excel at those things. At best, social media is something that business owners don’t have time to take on. At worst, it’s something they don’t understand at all. That’s why companies like us exist. We take one crucial aspect of marketing off of your plate, allowing you to focus on the things that make your business thrive.

We tend to create healthy relationships with our clients very early on. We strive to get to know them on personal levels, and come to care for their businesses as if they are our own. That said, we understand that it is ultimately your business, and we will do whatever it takes to accommodate you and your vision. Feedback and criticism are healthy parts of any relationship, and we try to take criticism with stride.

That said, micromanagement has no place in a healthy relationship. The last thing you want to see in a partner is someone who is constantly breathing down your neck. It creates distrust and resentment that prevents either partner from truly flourishing. The same principle can be applied to our relationship with our clients.

Look, your business is your baby. We surely understand that. We go great lengths to preserve the reputation of Precision Social, and don’t want to put out bad content on our socials.

We don’t want to put out bad content for you either, but we also have noticed differences in what we define as “bad” content from business owners.

Our approach to social content comes from building on concepts that work.  We are doing what we can to present your brand in the best light possible, but also making sure that it is seen by as many people as possible. When we produce content, we are thinking about pleasing the Instagram algorithm above all else. This means that our content is carefully curated to perform. Obviously, we want approval from our clients on our posts, but when clients take a hands-off approach to content moderation, it allows us to produce more free flowing content that will actually perform. Freaking out over individual words in a caption, trendy text on screen, or a video that doesn’t quite resonate with you will not help anyone. It wastes your time because you have to explain alterations to a video that has been carefully curated to excel. It wastes our time because we have to fix that video, even though the original video is often already perfectly crafted for social media. And, it erodes the trust that is necessary for us to operate at the peak of our creative abilities.

If we mess something up, tell us. If you want to give us a full new direction, go for it. If you have minor critiques of otherwise good content, just trust us. It saves everyone energy.
