Position Overview:
We are seeking a creative and strategic B2B Content Manager to join our dynamic team at Precision Social. This role is integral to our mission of creating compelling, value-driven content that resonates with our clients' target audiences. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of B2B marketing, a knack for storytelling, and the ability to manage multiple content projects from ideation through execution.
Key Responsibilities:
High-Level Strategy:
- Develop and execute content strategies that align with our clients' business goals and target audience needs.
- Emphasize providing value and documenting client processes, focusing on educating the audience rather than selling.
Ideation and Planning:
- Brainstorm and generate innovative content ideas that highlight the value and unique aspects of our clients' businesses.
- Plan content ideas that require multiple steps to execute, ensuring thorough preparation and timely delivery.
Content Creation:
- Write, edit, and oversee the production of high-quality content, including blog posts, articles, social media updates, videos, and webinars.
- Create detailed shot lists and coordinate with internal and external teams to capture necessary content.
Building and Managing Content Calendars:
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive content calendar to ensure a consistent flow of engaging content.
- Plan and schedule content to align with marketing campaigns and client objectives.
Writing Style:
- Craft content that is human, conversational, bold, authentic, witty, and candid.
- Avoid corporate jargon and overly commercial tones to maintain reader engagement and trust.
Account Management:
- Manage client accounts, ensuring clear communication, timely updates, and alignment with client expectations.
- Utilize LinkedIn and other platforms to maximize content visibility and engagement, including job postings, pinned posts, and tagging relevant individuals.
Measurement and Optimization:
- Monitor and analyze content performance metrics to continuously improve content strategy and execution.
- Report on content effectiveness and recommend adjustments to meet objectives.
Qualifications:
- Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills.
- Excellent project management and organizational abilities.
- Familiarity with social media platforms, particularly LinkedIn.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
